VigiMod

Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 November 2026

Draft: this text will be reviewed before the public launch.

The service

VigiMod is an API that scores messages for moderation. It is in beta: it can be wrong, it can change, and it can be unavailable at times. Its answers are signals: you decide what to do with them, and serious actions should involve a human.

Your account and keys

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your API keys secret. Revoke a key at once if it leaks. You must be old enough to accept these terms in your country, or have a parent or guardian accept them for you.

Each person (or organization) may have one free account. Creating several accounts to get around the free limits, or to come back after a block, is not allowed.

Acceptable use

  • Send only content you are allowed to process, and tell your users that their messages are checked by an automated moderation service.
  • Do not use VigiMod to build a competing model from its outputs, to harass people, or to overload or attack the service.
  • Respect the rate limits and do not share or resell keys.

Beta and price

The service is free during the beta. Paid plans may come later; we will tell you in advance and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent allowed by law. We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of its scores.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time; if these terms are broken, we may revoke keys and block the account and the devices or networks used to break them.
